Thank you for selecting our practice for your health care needs. This guide has been put together to provide you with some basic information about our practice. Please feel free to ask questions of any staff member. We are all here to help you.
The mission of the Talamo Family Practice Group is to provide comprehensive, accessible health care to individuals and families. We believe that each doctor/patient relationship is unique. We are committed to high professional standards in providing personalized care and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Our Office Hours Are:
Monday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Tuesday 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Wednesday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 Noon
When you call, be prepared to describe your needs so the staff can direct your call most efficiently. Different needs are handled differently by our staff. Your call will most likely (but not necessarily) fall into one of the following categories:
- True emergency (chest pains, severe injury, etc.)
- Same-day illness (sore throat, flu, etc.)
- Routine recheck (blood pressure, post-surgery, etc.)
- Routine physical exam
- Medication refills
- Test results
- Nurse and/or physician advice
- Billing questions
By categorizing your needs, you will help the staff route your call quickly and appropriately. When you call for an appointment, our scheduling staff will ask you some questions in an attempt to determine the best appointment for you. Your appointment represents time that is set aside for you. If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment or you will be late, please notify us as far in advance as possible. We prefer 24 hours notice.

- We require 48 hours notice before issuing referrals
- Our policy is for payment in full at the time of visit
- Call for all prescriptions during normal business hours
Patients are seen by appointment only, Monday through Friday.
We are available to you after hours by telephone for urgent emergencies. You may reach us through our answering service at our usual telephone number or by dialing 610.792.2890 after hours. In a true emergency, it is best to call an ambulance (911) or go directly to the ER department of the nearest hospital.
Please call the office if you have any questions regarding your condition, medication, or treatment. No prescriptions will be refilled unless your examination is current. Refills will be handled only during office hours when your chart is available for review.
Your Providers at a Glance
Robert J. Talamo, M.D.
Dr. Talamo completed his undergraduate studies at Notre Dame and then attended Jefferson Medical College. After graduation, he completed his residency at Bryn Mawr Hospital. He has been in private practice in the Collegeville area since 1988. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice and at the present time is on the medical staff at Phoenixville Hospital. He has three children, and in his spare time enjoys maintaining his home, skiing, golf, and tennis.
Amy E. Baker, PA-C, MS
Amy graduated from the Philadelphia University with a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies and is nationally certified. She has worked in family practice since 2004. She lives in Philadelphia with her husband and her son and daughter. She also teaches future Physician Assistants at Philadelphia University. Her favorite activities include traveling and photography, as well as spending time with family and friends.
Kelly Cavalli, D.O.
Kelly Cavalli, DO, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and compassionate care of adults. She is a physician whose interests range from preventative medicine to treating complex medical cases. Dr. Cavalli received her medical degree from LECOM-Bradenton in Florida and completed her residency training at Mercy Suburban Hospital in internal medicine, where she also received the Resident Teacher of the Year award. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Internists, and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association
